Terms of Service

My Spends is a personal finance app. You log expenses and income in a few taps and see what's left.

You sign in with Google or a magic-link email. You're responsible for keeping access to that email account; whoever has it has access to My Spends.

You can stop using My Spends at any time. To delete your data, email us asking for deletion.

Your transactions are yours. We don't sell them, and we don't use them to train models. See Privacy for the full breakdown.

We are nota bank, broker, financial adviser, or accountant. Numbers shown in the app are best-effort summaries based on data you give us. Don't use them as the source of truth for tax filings, legal proceedings, or major financial decisions — double-check against your bank statements.

We don't move money, make payments, or connect to your bank. Every entry is something you typed yourself.

• Use the service to break the law in your country.
• Try to access other people's accounts or data.
• Hammer the API in ways that affect other users (don't scrape, don't run bots).
• Resell or rebrand the service without permission.

We try to keep the app up and the data accurate, but things break. The service is provided "as is" with no guarantees of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. We're not liable for losses caused by downtime, data errors, third-party provider outages (Google, Vercel, Neon, Resend), or bugs.

We may update these terms. Material changes get announced in-app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
